Image Guidelines
We want images that speak a thousand words, highlight your photography skills and showcase your place. When we say images - we refer to photographs and not screen shots / paintings / sketches and the like.

Details
We accept JPEG's that are at least 2200 pixels wide or tall and are not larger than 10 MB.

Digital Processing
We are fine with cropping, sharpening, adjusting levels and curves, color, contrast etc in Photoshop as part of processing. But, we are not OK with changing the factual contents in an image.

Overlays and Borders
Images with visible watermarks, text overlays and borders will not be considered.

Objectionable material
No objectionable content, such as alcohol, smoking, guns, violence, or nudity.

Limit on Submissions
There is no limit on the number of images you can submit per day or on the number of images that can be tagged to a theme.

Story Guidelines
We are looking for stories that are engaging. It could be about a photo essay, a wildlife action sequence, a photography technique that you've mastered. It could be anything as long as the story is engaging and is completely yours!

Theme Guidelines
There are two types of Themes: The one run by Picsean Media to shortlist submissions for Picsean magazines and the other by companies and individuals who are looking for creative work from talented Picseans. The terms of use and the guidelines for the Picsean Themes are as stated in the Terms of Use and Guidelines and FAQ sections respectively. The Themes that are not run by Picsean shall carry their own Terms of Use and Guidelines.

How do I submit an image to a Theme?
When you open a particular theme, you can just select the images you want to tag to that theme and click on 'Add'.

Can I tag the same image to multiple Themes?
Yes.

Will images submitted for a theme only get picked for a magazine or earn Pic-cents?
No, Images that have not been tagged to a Theme can also make it to magazines and will earn Pic-cents.
In fact, your images could be the inspiration for the next Theme.

Is there a limit on the submissions?
No, there is no limit on the submissions per day or per theme and even on the number of your submissions that can make it to a particular magazine.
